I went to feed one of our two mute swans this morning, and one has some milky color mucus coming out of its nostrils. It is breathing ok, but swallowing more than usual, saw it was drooling too. Eating and grooming. What might this be? What do I need to do?

    Hi Jody

The swan may have some type of infection, such as an upper respiratory infectionor something lodged in its throat. We would strongly suggest you get the bird to your swan veterinarian to prevent any worsening symptoms. The Refal Swan
